HAEX’s Heat Shrink Busbar Insulating Sleeve is used to insulate Copper and Aluminium Busbars. These Sleeves provide Insulation enhancement and protection against flashover and accidentally induced discharge.
The Busbar Sleeves can be used in confined spaces to reduce the clearance necessary between busbar phases in Medium Voltage Switchgears up to 36kV. The use of Busbar Sleeves allows equipment designers the liberty to reduce air spacing between busbars, such as in the manufacture of switchgear cabinets where space is at a premium.
