AEX’s Heat Shrink Rain Sheds are used for extending the creepage path for the Medium Voltage Cable Termination, thereby saving the length of the Cable and compacting the Switchgear cabinet size required for this purpose. The Rain sheds are suitable for the termination of the complete range of XLPE and PILC types of Cables.
They also restrict the continuity of water during the monsoon causing electrical short circuits.
