AEX’s Heat Shrink Double Layer Tubing is made up of 2 layers. The red inner layer is made of insulation material to provide good insulation. The black outer layer is made of semi-conductive material to provide electrical shielding.
This tube is used in Power Cable Straight Through Joints for insulating and outer-shielding layers up to 36kV. It can also be used in other places wherever insulation and shielding are required.
