Heat Shrink Right Angle and Straight Boots

AEX’s Heat Shrink Right Angle and Straight Boots fit over the connection between a Termination’s cable lug and an equipment bushing, to provide phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground insulation. They are used in Switchgear and Transformer Cable boxes up to 36kV, particularly where air clearances are not sufficient for normal operation, and they also protect against flashovers in the event of any surge impulse, high humidity, or rodent menace contact. The boots are made from thermally stabilized Non-tracking Cross-linked material for excellent insulation and weather-resistant properties.
