AEX's PVC Busbar Insulation Covers/Boots are cold-applied flexible electrical insulating shrouds for busbar and switchgear connections up to 36kV. These pliable boots can be installed, removed or replaced in few minutes. The covers are designed to protect and insulate energized busbar connections from flash-overs due to accidental contact. These Covers/Boots are made from Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material. These Covers/Boots provide a reduction in air clearance, hence it is used to make compact Switchgear Panels.
